Team Player; Technophile; Always ready to help; Great Problem Solver
Describe a time when you have had to overcome a challenge. (04/28/2007)
::Great Wolf - Blue Harbor Resort:: When I was sent to separate an existing HSIA network from the property managements network. This posed a problem because I only had 5 days to do this, with no previous site survey and no knowledge of the current network. Once on property, I was greated with a Cisco PIX firewall, Fiber and Layer-3 Switches. The hotel was very large where each corridor was 100 meters each. So, even walking to each distribution frame took extensive amounts of time. After 82 hours of work that took 7 days, I resolved their existing connectivity issues; separated the HSIA and Property Management networks; Site Surveyed the installation and documented the current "Build" for our support department.
Describe your ideal work environment. (04/28/2007)
An environment that proactively pursues team work and collaboration. When equipment is needed, the future is viewed in perspective to the current bottom line. So as to not hinder production or support. All while creating stable installations that are not piecemealed together from unstable parts.
